I remember going the...Thank you for this nostalgia. I remember going there around 1951, as Rin Tin Tin was being filmed. As an aide, I 'surfed' with Lee Acre in 1958 at El Porto,next to LAX. By then, he had an inflated ego.<br />But what a shame that Corriganville was destroyed in the 1979 fire and not rebuilt, as Simi Valley and the 118 took over the site. I have visited that site and "plaques" just don't do it justice. I hoped that since some of the sites had not been developed, maybe they could rebuilt a building or two, just as a piece of history for the park.
