Reel Cowboys of the Santa Susanas -- Hank Bell

Hank Bell (1892–1950) appeared in nearly 400 films between 1920 and 1952 when he died from a heart attack.  Hank Bell -- nick-named 'handlebar' -- was best known for his trademark mustache.  He was most often cast in the role of a salty old time stagecoach driver, but was occasionally cast as a lawman or ranch foreman.  

His only starring role on a Santa Susana location was Two Gun Law (1937).  Hank Bell is far right in the photo above.
