Bound by the Reins: A Celebration of Our Ancestral Horsemen

Long before horsepower was measured in engines, it was measured in leather, sweat, and iron. Across generations and continents, our kin answered the call of the trail, the field, and the open range.

They were light dragoons and cavalrymen charging across battlefield lines; saddlers and harness makers bench-crafting gear in pioneer towns; riding masters, coachmen, and teamsters handling team reins on city streets and turnpikes; and stockmen, loggers, and farmers breaking sod on the Western frontier. Born in England, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, and the American backwoods, their backgrounds were diverse, but their common thread was unwavering: The Horse.
